My hair is light brown, but its summer, so its turning a bit reddish, i want to take it completely out, any suggestions?

Buy a semi-permanent light ash brown hair color. The ash brown will mute the red. I also have a lot of red/gold in my hair that can sometimes look brassy. This works for me.

I have the same problem in the summer. Try one of the purple shampoos designed for blonde or gray hair. I prefer Shimmer Lights. It is fairly inexpensive compared to others like the one by Paul Mitchell. It does have a strong smell that some people don't care for. I normally try to use a good conditioner w a nice smell afterward.
