You should believe yourself, rather than the idiots running the thing, or the other idiots who want to be running it. Get some independent, objective information, and make your own opinion. You don't need someone to tell you how to think. Do you?

The dems are out for just one thing, a job after the 2008 elections. They don't care how they get it, or who they have to blame, they want a job.

For anyone with an ounce of character to believe a thing spewing from Hillary's pie hole, they best re-evaluate their own priorities. Most of the democrats can fall in line behind Hillary, because they are all singing to the same choir.

Does this mean that only one person is doing the thinking? Probably ! If that's the case, that one person is Rahm Emanuel, Hillary's handler who allows her only to say what he has written. If this is to be believed, then the whole democratic party is playing off Emanuel !

Boy, that's a scary thought !

For credibility purposes, I put my money on information coming from the Pentagon. They already have a job, so they don't need to lie to the American people, and since they are non-political, they can be somewhat independent of the current administration.

I'd believe the 1SG whose boots are on the ground and who is leading a small team in and out of hostile areas everyday over anyone else.

There's a middle range of soldier that knows what's going on and who has been in the military long enough to know how things should be run. I mean no offense to any of you, but I believe the middle to higher ranking NCO over the General anyday. Not that the General doesn't know what he's doing, depending on the General, he may not be in touch with his grunts or hitting the streets like the NCO's and lower ranking officers are. And yes, I am making a generalization and I'm sure there are higher ranking officers who have a clue.

You could consider whether or not what the Liberals plan to do resembles what happened in Mogadishu, but on a larger scale, and ask yourself how well that turned out.

If the Liberals are correct, what does that demand that you believe about the character and/or competence of the military officials?

If the Liberals are incorrect, what are the possible character explanations for their positions?

For a moment ignore what the Democrats, Republicans, Generals and especially the press, say about the war. Don't get sucked in to the thinking that the "war" is Iraq. Take some time to research what Muslim leaders like Osama Bin Laden have said in front of cameras about their war. Pay attention to their goals (one world religion, all others wiped out, all non-believers of Islam killed, Allah Willing) and dedication (they will gladly become martyrs) to their cause. 72 virgins anyone?

They are the ones you should to believe. They do.

You need to be reading the right articles. The person you say is "running this thing" is an undersecretary for defense policy. He makes NO important decisions.

He also used to work for Cheney.

Plus, this whole episode is being seen as making Clinton STRONGER in the polls.
"Edelman, the undersecretary for policy at the Pentagon, is a former aide to Vice President Dick Cheney, and a public feud between him and Clinton may win her points among anti-war voters and liberal Democrats, a critical constituency in primary voting."

He was quite clearly - WRONG - to be voicing such an opinion as that.

I see Edelman being without a job by Monday.

So many politicians have one moral compass, what they think will get them elected. The politicians risk a losing a vote, people in the military risk losing there lives. Who would you believe.

None of the above. Hillary, George and the politicians of both major parties are in the hip pockets of Corporate America and the military personnel are political sycophants concerned with career ladder climbing more than the strategic results. Grow up and make your unbiased decisions on honest and personal research rather than remain sheeple

I would trust a military general over a politician any day of the week.

neither,
Do you mean the military officials who were running this thing, or the newly appointed "yes" men?
