A change of clothes and and a smile should be all she'll need! Be sure she has a set of clean clothes in case of a spill or accident, including socks and underwear and shoes, and maybe a sweater or sweatshirt.
If you want to buy school supplies, she can use scissors, glue or glue stick, crayons, markers, and paper to use at home because these support fine motor development and creativity. The school should supply these things for use at school
Oh, she could also use a mom willing to volunteer in the classroom occasionally! She will love having you come in so she can "share" her mom with her new friends, and the teachers will appreciate the assistance, and you'll have a lot of fun!

It depends on the center. They will give you a list when you enroll her or you can ask her teachers. In my center the childern need blankets and a sheet. A bookbag with extra clothes (shirts, pants or shorts, underwear, socks and sneakers). It also depends on the season, in the summer a swimsuit, towel and watershoes. In the winter a snowsuit, boots, gloves, hat, etc... And a notebook for daily reports. But like I said every center is different. It depends of the program in each group.

It all depends on the prek program. I work for a state funded grant program that will not allow us to ask our parents to buy or send anything, i.e. snacks, crayons, ect.

I would suggest a change of clothes, bedding for her cot ( a fitted sheet and a towel or blanket to cover up with) and a small backback is nice, makes it easier for her to carry home art and other items.

Hope this helps.

If they didnt send home or give you a list than she probably doesnt need to bring anything. It would probably be a good idea to get some of the school stuff though just in case she wants her own (since its real cheap now), crayons and scissors would be a good start and a pencil bag or something to keep her own things in.

have her bring a change of clothes just in case(wet her pants, spilled something...) put it in a backpack to make her feel older. maybe give her a lunch box with a small snack in it. Oh and you can't forget a SMILE!!!!! The teacher should supply the supplies.

Good Luck!!

Check with the school. All schools are different. Usually a change of clothes and sometimes a snack and a lunch.
