Option 1- eternal life in heaven
Option2-eternal life in hell,
Why cant I JUST DIE?

Your thinking is the bad result of false teaching.
The major religions have a lot to answer for.
this is what the Bible says about when we die.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

There are some living that will never die..and if they do die they will be resurrected to earthly life in a paradise.
God's original purpose was halted by Adam and Eve..we have had to live that scenario all these years.
God's purpose? His sovereignty was at stake..His right to rule was questioned.
It's like telling your youngest children....do not jump off the roof...or you will die....but one of the older children tells them ..you won't die...you'll be able to fly like dad does.
so the younger ones jump off the roof...they break both legs.
The fathers right to tell them was usurped by the older child and God had to show all the other children he was right. Then the older child didn't stop there...he got most of the others born to jump too. God said this will end soon and when it does the older son will get a severe punishment.
Today the punishment is spiritual darkness and soon his death. Satan has proved that only God can rule mankind.

Correction: One nightmare scenario.
Look at it this way: So you have to mind your P's and Q's for a few decades while you're here on earth. Treat people decently, as you would want them to treat you. Worship and pay respect to your Creator. Acknowledge that Jesus Christ died to atone for your sins and will come again in final judgement. Do all of this for a few short years, you die, and then heaven for the rest of eternity. Sounds like a good deal to me.
