This is my first tattoo i decided to get but not really sure which tattoo should i get first .... i am 22 y.o guy .
any ideas please?

I would not recommend getting a tattoo on your hand, especially as a first one. We change a lot in life and things like this can have an impact on our future - there will always be prejudice about people with tattoos. I don't want to sound preachy or negative. Me and my fellow tattooed teachers would not be employed if they showed, and I never thought in a million years I would ever end up a teacher. Don't paint yourself into a corner.
But anyway, when you find a design you like, pin it beside your bed for 6 months, if you still like it after this time then go ahead. A tattoo is for life, not just for christmas as they say.

Being so young, and this being your first tat, I would recommend that you don't get the tat on your hand. First, a lot of places don't want to hire people who have visible tats. Second, most peoples regret their first tat. You shoudl get it in a place that isnt seen while wearing clothes. Really consider what you want to do, don't do something that is just a "fad" or anything like that.....and most importantly, think about how you will feel say 10, 20 or even 30 yrs down the road about any tat you get.

Ive contemplated getting Rock'em Sock'em Robots one on each hand, or old school day of the dead skulls, but I live in an area where its not a big deal to show tattoos at work or in public, standards are still bible thumped in other parts of the country though. Thats just your life choice getting them inked, but if you do...arms, shoulder, calfs seem like a better way to start getting inked though
...Round designs fit the back of the hand well, think about a light background to make images fit well. Aesthetics is highly important, draw it on yourself first, see what looks cool to you and your peers(Opinions matter, they're the ones that have to see it all the time). I think theres no school like the old school.

for what its Worth, if you waited this long for your first tat you do not need one got my first at 17 now at 45 I have 175 as of today next sat 28 i get 176-177 and some color on 175
hope that helps Tats. can be addictive money takers if you let them. as far as a first tat don't put it on the hand my first was on the biceps it's about 5 inches long and can be covered by my shirt sleeves of course my bosses knew when a new inking was done body parts were tender and scabbed

Don't get one on any place you can't hide it for work you will limit your opportunities for good jobs. I won't hire someone with a bunch of visible tattoos. When they work for me they represent my company and me and have to be presentable to my customers. What they do on their own time is their business but can't bleed over to the time I'm paying them for. This is how I make my living and the money I pay them.

i have tats on my hands but I'm a tattoo artist and that's all I'll ever be but if you don't have a career yet you might not want tats on your hands you cant cover them up get your first tat where you can cover leg arm back chest all good spots

dude. not your hand.. be considerate of WHERE your puttin it.. you dont want to go to that interview to shake MR. IHAVEYOURPAYCHECK and he sees a rather interesting pic of whatever on your hand ..it can make or break you..PLUS what if you don't like it? try somewhere less conspicuous like your chest, back , etc ..as far as the tat is concerned ..just get something live or something that means alot to your or a thorough respresentation and reminder of who you are.

.Hell im all for you getting a tattoo but not on the hand not till your older..you will be knocked back for jobs when they see your tatt on your hand get your first tatt somewhere else on your body..obviously being green you havent thought about it much
