There are no hard and fast rules that say anything is "supposed to" be shaved. I've never been big on shaving. When I was dating, I had a shower that was about two feet deep and two feet wide. Not much room for basic washing, especially for one who is six feet tall. I figured that if somebody didn't like me for me, that was his or her problem, not mine. Now, I've been with my husband for nine years, married for six. I'm pregnant with our first child and I still don't shave in winter (I need the extra insulation) and maybe once a week in summer. I don't even remember the last time my armpits saw a razor.
Even better is that I've not bought razor or shave gel in a few years. I just take advantage of the free sample offers and got my last two cans of gel for free at the grocery stores after sale price and coupon.
If a guy doesn't like you becuase you don't fit some superficical definiation of "pretty" or "sexy" then he's not worth it.
