For all those idiots who say a tattooist shouldnt use vaseline you obviously dont know alot about the tattooing process. The vaseline is only used straight after you get a tattoo to act as a barrier from bacteria while you have your bandage on.
Try E45 or Sudocream

Being allergic to vaseline is interesting to me. Can you answer a few questions?
What happens when you do use it?
Who told you you were allergic?
Are you allergic to Vaseline & Pertrolatum (which is what vaseline is with perfum). Have you tested just pharmateutical Petrolatum (place a small dab on your neck close to your ear for 24 hours)?

I am allergic to some thing I have never heard of any one else being allergic to, Johnson's Baby shampoo. When I was a teen I asked my Mom to buy some because I liked the smell and liked the idea of it being so gentle. Well turned out not so gentle for me since it caused huge sores on my scalp. I'm allergic to a baby shampoo, go figure. lol

Hemorrhoids, also known as piles are swollen veins around the anal opening or the anal canal. They can be painful and linger on for a long time causing distress. Fortunately, there are a number of home remedies that are as effective and provides fast relief https://tr.im/zOjE7
The main symptoms include bleeding during the bowel movement and itching. The first thing that people do to cure hemorrhoids is get an OTC medication, without knowing their possible side effects.

wow....many of these answers are going to confuse you completely. First of all, if you are really allergic to petrolatum (petroleum jelly) - this is in pretty much every product mentioned, including A&D.
You could ask your tattoo artist to use lubricating jelly, like K-Y - a lot of artists use that because they know that petroleum jelly breaks down latex and they want to keep using latex gloves.
(We use nitrile gloves.) At any rate, that is your logical solution. For after care, there are many products such as Ink Fixx that does not contain petroleum jelly or the artist may just ask you to use unscented lotion.

they don't use vaseline while you're getting it and a good artist won't recommend using to promote healing. almost all suggest a topical antibiotic ointment afterwards. some give samples to last a day or two.

VASELINE SHOULDN'T BE USED..it blocks the tattoo from getting air and breathe while healing up. ask your tattoo artist to suggest which cream to use but if that person says vaseline, then they shouldnt be doing ppls tattoo in the first place.

tattooists shouldnt use vaseline, its a barrier cream and doesnt allow the skin to breathe. i worked in a studio we only ever used LASONIL, it looks like vaseline, but is a tissue injury repair cream, its cheap and readily available, and if you cannot get this, go with good old preparation H, its still an oldie but goody
