I am in England at the moment and floods are bad, my home is ok as it is high up thankfully!

There was another lady who's business was wrecked and she went home to find that her two kittys had drowned and you could see how distraught she was, I would be too, I dont know what I would do with out my cats!!! What do you think?

Have you been affected by the floods too?

Amanda..I'm in Texas, USA, and we have had some terrible flooding across the pond as well. One night, just north of where I live, 19 inches fell in 6 hours!!!! It was very scary and the weather fellow on the telly was asking folks in Marble Falls to go wake up their neighbors and get to higher ground. These people were allowed to take their pets. I remember when hurricane Katrina hit they wouldn't let the people take their pets....it was so sad. Those people lost everything and their pets!! That's too hard. I'm glad your cats are okay. Be safe over there and LOVE those cats!!!

its so bad really feel for you all, im in wales we have floods every year but it doesnt really affect anyone coz there isnt many places around here that have built on the flood plains, we expect the water although it is getting worse.
All the best for you i hope it gets better soon. i got a bet on saying the summer starts on the 24th of this month so see what happens tuesday!

I was nearly flooded out, but my cats are fine, they had to get their jabs yesterday (boosters for the adults, new course for the kitten) so it was fun trying to get to the vets and home again, I had to show ID to be allowed down my street because it was so badly affected.

we are lucky - we live at the top of a hill, but literally a couple of miles down the road the RAF are airlifting people off their roofs. I feel soooo sorry for them.
