By your vehicle certificate I presume you mean the V5 registration document. Why did you send it and to where. You have another 9 or 10 days so there is time for it to arrive in the next week. Also you will get a tax renewal reminder from Swansea . You can tax on line or over the phone so you don't need the documents as long as the insurance and MOT are current and notified to the DVLA.

Tax consistently runs from the tip of the month, so the two that's already previous due, or you have approximately 4 weeks to pass. If that's already previous due, then you somewhat can take a probability and placed "tax utilized for" on the windscreen so which you don't get towed, the police in lots of cases provide you a pair of weeks grace in case you get pulled over. see you later as you have coverage and the final MOT (which could have been digitally saved) you're able to do your highway tax on line and function your disc very rapidly.

Chase up the certificate, and advise the authorities with as much information as you can.
But you don't need a reminder to re-tax your vehicle.

The reminder is to signal people that money is due. You did not forget and do not need a reminder. Go to DMV and pay the bill.. That was easy....

Call the department and explain what's happening. Communication is the most effective way to solve problems. They can't help you if they don't know about it, and by not calling to advise them, it will just look like you were slack and let things get out of control.

Good luck. :)
