One egg per day is the "newest observation." However, you can eat the white as much as you can.

I heard from a doctor: 3 or 4 per week. 2 per day is too much. Do you really like eggs that much? You can get an allergy reaction eating too much of eggs, I got it on one Easter a couple years ago. Also, I don't think eggs stop the cravings, because when I tried that Atkins diet, I ate eggs and always felt exhausted and hungry

Current school of thought is no more than 4/week. There are many lower fat/cholesterol options for getting protein, like low fat yogurt or cottage cheese, beans and rice, tuna or salmon in the little pouches with some crackers, some soy nuts or other nuts.
I have not heard eggs cause pimples or that they curb sweets cravings either. Eat some low fat protein and complex carbs (whole grain, veggies or fruit) and your body will stop begging for a sugar shot-and the vitamins will help your skin.

The jury is out, no one knows for sure what they are talking about.
EAT WHAT YOU WANT AND DIE LIKE A MAN.
Other than that you are like a flag in the wind pointing in any direction the status quo points. The USDA created a new grade of beef called select, right? It's much lower in fat than choice, right? Wrong! what is called select was once called USDA good. Do you think they changed the standard for your health? No they changed it so the producers could sell you cheap beef at a inflated price and con you.
Buy the freshest food you can, buy local, eat well and be happy.
The only things you well regret at the end is what you didn't do.

According to doctor, 2 eggs per day is more than enough!
An egg contains all vitamins, taking 2 eggs on alternate day even is better. Take care!

2 a day is too many. Half a dozen per week is plenty.

By the way, it's spelt 'allowed', not aloud........
