It is a shame that you got rid of your cat, especially since there are so many homeless animals already.. Also since frontline plus works so good and easy. Just a little drop on their back and they are good for a month. Anyway, fogging uusually works, especially if it also kills the eggs and larve. You may have to get a spray can of flea killer that also kills the fleas, eggs, and larve to spray along baseboards. you might see them for a few more days, but they should all die. You shouldn't need to hire an exterminator. Good luck

I'm sorry you took it out on the cat, fleas can be treated for, you didn't need to tramatize the cat with separating him from you.

The fogging should take care of the house problem, but you need to back it up with a dehumidifier. Any eggs not hatched and not killed by the fog will have a much harder time hatching in dry air, the eggs shrivel and die if the humidity levels are low.

For your own protection, I wouldn't do more than two foggings, this will stress your body enough, and you can have liver or kidney damage if enough is absorbed through lungs and skin. Wash all surfaces especially where you eat, wash your bedding and clothes, and especially any dishes, cups, cooking pans and utinsils.

I had fleas 2 years in a row. Couldn't understand where they were coming from all of a sudden. Just bam by the thousands. I just filled a 4 gallon sprayer tank that I bought from K-Mart with dish soap and water and started spraying the yard. Mind you I spent $ 250.00 the first year trying to get rid of them with no luck. With all of the special chemicals. That is when I tried the soap. This year is first year that I have not had the fleas since I sprayed. So I guess the soap worked. You must soak the area real well. And repeat everyday for a week.
