Why are people catorgoized in the UGLY or the PRETTY catorgory? What is the deal with all the catagories, there's POPULAR

It is not what is on the outside, it is what is on the inside.... the heart.
So boys when you hurt an "UGLY" girls feelings because the are "UGLY". what you need to do is get OVER yourselves!!!!

Because we were taught by our parents, teachers, friends what is ugly and pretty, what is popular and loser. We were taught at an early age to differentiate words. We were even given pictures so that we would understand those words. Come to think of it, how did you learn how a pretty girl and an ugly girl look like? Someone taught you right? Maybe if we don't want these negative words, we can all ask all the makers of dictionaries and the education system to erase them from all books and language references.

Yes, we are all equal. But we are in a society that only thinks we are equal but does not totally believe it so.

Yes, it is what is on the inside.. but you (yourself) must feel it, too. (Beautiful not ugly) You are what you see yourself as. Don't lower yourself down to their level. Keep your head up and your spirits too. Try not to use the negative words, and show the other people, you can use other words to describe people and still get your point across. If you could go a day and smile at anyone that came with in 10 feet of you and said "HI" to them. It would get contagious and this world would be a better place. "Teach them and they will learn"

People are superficial, and we live in a world that sadly puts emphasis on how we all look-sad but true. Just remember, boys take along time to grow up and they think all girls that stand up for them selves are ugly-They are really just afraid and react out of insecurities towards you-the fact of the matter is, that you actually realize how obsurde they are, and that is a very beautiful thing, it really does come from the inside- so don't worry about the outside it will catch up to the inside all in due time-just don't stress on it!!!! Generally I find that ignorant people and the young are the ones that will say something to hurt an ugly (on the outside) persons feelings.

Before you say something to hurt someones feelings try to get to know them. I have known people who are considered ugly (by to-days standards) that when you get to know them are the most beautiful people in the world. I have also known beautiful people who when you get to know them are the ugliest people.

What you have inside you will shine through. So give everyone a chance.

We are NOT the same!! We are all EQUAL but not the same.Each person is different and unique.The world would be a boring place if we were all red roses. It's the people who think they are superior to others that cause the problem.It's sad but the best we can do is to believe in yourself and have no tolerance for others who don't.

the thing is that it is easier to feel better about yourself thinking that there is someone in a worts position, in order to do that society has created groups, each group comes with a label. Basically I think that people who use this labels are people who need reassurance, people that need to feel distinguished from others because they do not feel special enough. We are all equal, and we should learn to live with that. I so understand your point.

yeah it's how it works I think it's bull I wish it would change but the ugly truth is it most likely won't because the people who put these lables out are narrow minded and don't relize what they are doing and well never will cause they already don't think of others there really is no way of stoping it they do what they do cause they don't understand no body will ever fully understand another person

Be careful what girls you call ugly they somewhere down the line you may meet up with them again and they are beautifull and you want to be around them But believe me they will remember you called them ugly and and how much it hurt they will make sure you know that it's your loss you didn't get to know them instead of insulting them

We all have equal rights but we are all very much different. Everybody puts labels on everybody and and we do it to ourselves as well. Its not a big deal, its just a persons opinion. And who cares if your considered to be a "band geek". If your a band geek than your a band geek.
