Adam didn't eat from the tree God specifically told them not to eat from? If Eve just ate it would we still died?

If Eve would have accepted responsibility for her mistake, she would have been forgiven.

It was that they made this mistake and then tried to point their fingers at someone else. To hide it or deny it.
At Gen 3:8 It shows that they were hiding from Jehovah, then at Gen 3:12 Adam went on to say "The women whom you gave to be with me, she gave me the fruit...", like he didn't understand the command given or it was her fault or even Gods fault, not his own. Once again, now Eve could have said please forgive us, we knew it was wrong and are so sorry to displease you, no, she blamed the serpent.

The lesson is to be responsible for your own actions. Your relationship with God is just that, yours. It is up to you to know what pleases God and what doesn't and if you make a mistake own up to it. Repent, pray and love your creator.

To Halthum;

If Adam and Eve were fictional characters why would Jesus have referred to them.
If you do not believe that Adam was real then you can't believe what happened to Jesus really happened.
I cor 15:22 says that "For just as in Adam all are dying so also in the Christ all will be made alive." then at 15:45 it says "It is even so written; "The first man Adam became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit."

In Luke 3:38 it give you the lineage of Joseph back to Adam, actually back to God himself.

That's SO hard to say...
Cuz I'd be guessing as to what
Jehovah would do in that case.

I can imagine tho' that some form of punishment would have to be meted out, upon Eve?,
but I don't think we'd all got the death sentence,
IF Adam @ least had obeyed.
But like I said at the outset;
I'd be 2nd guessing Jehovah, God.
Or at least guessing as to What He would have done.
As it stands, we will soon find out all truth,
when He sends Jesus to ride.

EDIT: I like 'I wanna be a fish' answer better than mine.
I haven't been in the truth for long, & I'm not baptised yet.

Human being was created to be on earth. If Adam and Eve didn't eat from the tree, the God somehow will sent him to earth.

We will still die, that is the purpose of living. Everything will come to the end. Animals and trees didn't eat from the tree and they die.

Somebody had to do it. If not Adam, then someone else. Eating from the tree was just learning how to read and write. Does anyone see education and learning as a sin?

I am sorry I can not answer that but it seems sin entered the world when adam ate of the fruit.

Jesus wouldn't have needed to come because the world would still be perfect paradise and we would be with God.

Sin is inherited from the father so his children wouldn't have inherited sin from Eve. But I'm sure their children would have done something wrong too.

I have often wondered about this question. The truth is, we don't know. As that is a what if, and not how it happened , we will never know.

Then we wouldn't have a very nice story, would we?

Here's some information: it's a myth. We evolved from primate and hominid ancestors.

It's a metaphorical story. It's not meant to be taken literally. You are just suppost to get the main point of the story:
-God created everything
