Don't you feel better when you eat many smalls meals a day? I feel like I have more energy, can work longer, and just have a better attitude overall whenever I eat many small meals a day along with snacks in between. On the other hand, don't you just feel like complete crap and really sluggish after eating a very full meal, especially late in the day? I do, and after that, all i want to do is sleep. Why does eating, in these 2 different ways effect me....or everyone...like this? Thanks.

it affects everybody that way but not all people think it has much to do with food they eat.
when you eat small meals every 2-3 hours your body gets calories it needs at the moment and doesnt have any extra left to store in fat reserves. And your blood sugar is not jumping up and down which happens when you eat 3 big meals a day.

Yes i sure do you.Your body produces endorphins that make you want to sleep.I forgot exactly what it is called but thats close. It is somthing that has been with us since the stone ages. It just a natural thing im full now I must sleep dont wake me or I will be slow and cranky. The small meal 5 times a day works best because your not forcing you digestion tract to work hard and take care of what you eat right then.on the other hand you eat small meals it is easier for you body to digest smaller meal and makes you feel much better.Hope this helps you.

The simple fact that your metabolism appreciates being fed all day long. Your brain is getting pleny of glucose all day long and can function properly. When you eat alot your liver becomes overloaded and your brain gets many confusing signals. Not to mention eating all day long just feels better!
