They are usually PG or PG-13. However, the opening credits usually feature naked women silhouettes. Also, there have been cases of brief nudity / breasts in many of the movies.

I didn't know who James Bond was till I was in my 20's because my parents kept us locked in a closet.

I agree with Idaho Gal! We are allowed to make are own decisions, we can choose sin or we can choose to follow the prophets.

We are all capable of deciding for ourselves if we watch movies with opening credits that feature naked women silhouettes, or to be like Christ.

The church doesn't recommend choosing to sin, but were allowed to, according to Idaho Gals logic.

Sure we can. Because your parents decided that they felt you should not watch them was not because they were told that. The LDS church lets people make their own decisions. While it does recommend we don't watch R rated movies, it does not force us or excommunicate us if we do. To be honest I have watched a lot of R rated movies that were better and less vulgar then many PG-13 movies. But then I am an adult and I get to make my own decisions. When I was a kid my parents choose what movies they felt were appropriate. That's being a good parent.

they cant drink coffee, tea, or cola. im sure one of their living "prophets" have changed the doctorine to say they can't watch a bond film. unless.......they get proceeds from the movie to support their multi billion dollar cult. then it would be ok.
