God the Father is the infinite spirit, and the Son is the revealed God in human form that we can relate to.
We cannot be sinless or offer ourselves without spot to God.
God knew we would fail on our own, and took the punishment of sin on himself in the form of Christ, so as to satisfy the demands of justice on our behalf. NOw God is free to justify us by his own sacrifice. Understand?

Jamustrip----how have you been hurt? Someone or some circumstance has made you angry with God. Here is your sign---I do care about you, I would like to help you, and at least do what I can to help you with your pain. Will you let someone in? If God is not real, or he is so bad, then why does he inspire me to take time for you, and care about you and desire to help you?

Jamus----If the wages of sin is death, and separation from holiness which is spiritual death, then in order to make us able to overcome that, logically then there must at least be a substitute. There really is no other way. God cannot be God if he violates his own righteousness and holiness and compromises it with our sin. He came in the form of a man and suffered it for us. It is an amazing act of love not sadism. Would you be able to endure flogging and crucifixion for someone you loved. I dont know if any of us could endure the cruelty that human beings can come up with. But God took the best of the worst we could dish out. God is love.

See you say this but always miss one important factor. God is supposedly omnipotent meaning nothing is beyond his capability. This being said, he has the capability of coming up with a plan o salvation that did not require the death of his son nor the condemnation of billions of souls. He just chooses otherwise therefore...
