Jew, Christian, Jehovah Witness, Catholic, Pentecostal, Satanist, Agnostic, Athiest, FSM, Morman, Witch, or Druid? By the way this is a Gay prayer meeting and all are invited. I'm torn and the appetizers are getting warm. Who would be the best person to bring a toast of gladness and understanding? Or should I skip the prayer and just pig out?

Persons striving to follow Jesus Christ may wonder: ‘Should a Christian join in a prayer meeting?’

The apostle Paul warned the followers of Jesus Christ: “Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness? Further, what harmony is there between Christ and Satanist? Or what portion does a faithful person have with an unbeliever? And what agreement does God’s temple have with idols? . . . ‘Therefore get out from among them, and separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing’; ‘and I will take you in.’”—2 Corinthians 6:14-17.

Would not offering prayers at an interfaith meeting amount to a Christian’s ‘becoming unevenly yoked’?

I'm almost sure at least 6 of the first nine won't be in attendance. After that just take ya pick! Let the satanist or the athiest make the toast or heck let em' do the toast togather!

Just pig out.

Let them all say their prayers if any in silence and not try to show how devout they are by being the loudest or praying the longest.

Tell you what, you may as well skip the prayer for now, but later you might want to say a little prayer that God will give you a better understanding of His word.

A discerning person does not allow words to flow out of his mouth hastily. He thinks before speaking and enjoys peaceful relations with others because a “mouth of discretion” leads him to choose his words carefully. When faced with foolish or speculative questioning, a man of discernment is able to ‘hold back his sayings.’ (Proverbs 17:27)

Whichever religion you feel comfortable with, and what is FSM? Someone else mentioned it.
