to April who thinks that Witchcraft doesn't work: it does, but you have to be open minded. I am not being snide, I am sincere, and it is very simple to do.

Morgana, it looks like a regular Avatar and not a pic of you. But it's still nice. :). LOL

As for the "converters" out there. Your attempts at getting us to come over to YOUR way are NOT working. Have ANY of yyour attempts succeded, eve with ONE single person? NO, they haven't. The reason? If you want to get someone on your side then attacking that person is NOT the way to go about it. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Your OWN Jesus TOLD you how to go out and get new followers, yet you refuse to follow HIS advice. He told you that the BEST way to have people follow you and your ways was to live your lives as HE did. Accepting them for who and what they are, LOVE them, be kind and generous to them, nurture tham, feed them, HELP them. Jesus had little love for those who knew scripture, through and through. He felt that they MAY have been knowledgeable people but they had NO idea about HOW to follow the SPIRIT of what they "claimed" to know.

Your current methods are REPULSIVE and OFFENSIVE and, such methods will simply NOT work. You can't SCARE us into believing YOUR Bible. You have already TRIED that in the past and it didn't work then and YOU had the POWER of life and death. NOW you do NOT so what on this GOOD Green Earth makes you think that your threats of Hell are going to work NOW? The Witches that you burned way back then were uneducated peasants. TODAY'S Witches are a LOT more educated. We KNOW not only the Secular laws, but we ALSO KNOW your Bible and KNOW how to use it in the VERY same fashion that YOU now use it. We were frightened little Rabbits then but we are no longer frightened of you and your kind any longer. WE exspose you for exactly the kind of people that you REALLY are, a bunch of cowardly bullies, trying to force your way around the schoolyard of the World. We are NOT going to allow ourselves to be bullied any longer. Come at us like that and we ARE going to stand up to you and fight for OUR right to exist, to worship OUR Gods and Goddesses, and to be simply left alone and be accepted as members of Society. We have that right and we will NOT surrender it one tiny bit. The days of your concept of Religion are coming to a close. YOU are no better than the Taliban of the Muslims and like them, you are looking at your OWN extinction.

There are a LOT of very wonderful Christians out there and this is NOT aimed at you in even the slightest bit. We love you, accept you and will stnad shoulder to shoulder in YOUR fight to rid the world of those intolerant Pharisees among you. You can COUNT on our support AND our love and assistance in your Battle. You WILL find us to be able and adept at being there for you when we are called upon. When YOUR Religion was in it's infancy, you sought us out and asked for our help, we gave it then, and we will give it again. ALL we ask in raturn is to LEARN from your past mistakes and NOT let the Pharisees EVER take control of YOUR Religion ever again. THEY are the Devil worshippers, NOT us. THEY worship the Devil of Power, of Greed, of Control and of Hatred. We have those types in OUR midst TOO, and we REPUDIATE them, openly and loudly. Isn't it about time that YOU do likewise? DON'T be afraid of them, they have NO power and will slink back under the rocks that they crawled out from under,. when you confront them. They are bulies BECAUSE they are Cowards and are the TRUE scared little Rabbits that they percieve us and you to be.

I maybe a Christian... but o well :P I think do what you want about debating. I used to argue EVERY LITTLE THING amoung everyone (Christians, aithiests, pegan, and others). But i've finaly came to the realization that it's actualy pretty stupid. Trying to change someone's firm beliefs is like trying to stop a semi with your bare hands, and even if you manage to atleast slightly change it, they probably won't admit it. Now it is different if the person ASKS you for some information or something (unless they are looking for an answer limited to their own beliefs, in which case it isn't a good question). But if you really want to argue it, maybe you should come up with a different name than witch? Through media, most of us have been instilled with the thought of a witch being a green skinned lady concocting evil magical potions, and while we might not conciously think it, it's probably in the back of your mind. Then there are all the evil codoning from the witch hunts. Granted witches aren't always bad/evil (just like the rest of us :)). besides i never liked the idea of cataglorizing people, like Christian, nerd, jock, Taoist, ect. Because I'm a Christian, but I certainly don't agree with everything my Church says... and then i agree with that of other religions.

to the others, except ariel, why the snide comments? doe that make you feel a more fulfilled person?
who are you to doubt what you do not know?
probably your view of witchcraft is one from brothers Grimm, concocted to help the public view of wise women who society's leaders feared ..
or perhaps you think witches are satans helpers??
real, sincere, honest witches are kind and genuine people, who are able, through meditation and blending home grown herbs with oils for example, to perform 'spells', blessings, good wishes, some foresight etc

the ability to be open-minded, intuitive, sensitive and motivated does help.

perhaps more people should concentrate on those qualities rather than bashing others for no good reason?

Lady M -- I do not know you but have read several of your answers and like what you have to say. And your avatar is lovely.

Might I also please add that Raji is so right in her expression of contempt for Christians who have no faith in other faiths. How limiting; how sad; and how ruinous for their souls. I guess we can only pray for them . . . you to Diana, me to Jesus. As One we will unite on seas far calmer for our new journeys.
