God's nature is complex. I'm sorry I don't have an hour to respond. Just kidding.
God didn't just visit earth, God created earth. And He created man for the sole purpose of fellowship with Him. (Tadah! You now know the meaning of life!) And man did fellowship with God in the beginning. But when sin entered into the world, God lost His fellowship with His beloved, because His beloved turned from righteousness and obedience, and fell into sin. But, don't worry, God formulated a plan to one day fellowship with His beloved again for eternity!
That plan was Jesus Christ - His death and resurrection

Yes he is thee God. He is the creator, and he not only spoke to people on earth and has been heard, but he came to earth and died on the cross. He currently dwells on earth as the holy spirit.

God is a fictional character, and like all fictional characters,
his actions are out of proportion to applicable life.
In theory, God is a very nice man who looks after the universe with a kind and loving hand, but in reality, he is an egotistical supreme ruler with a personality like that of Mussolini

I believe that God is a creator. He is our father in heaven. He is our spiritual father. We are all his spiritual children. All he wants for us is for us to be happy and have safe journey on this earth and come back to him. Yes, he did visited here on earth in the past. Also he does speak to you through your mind and feelings.
