NO! That is called anorexia & doing so will put your body in starvation mode. The less you eat the slower your matabolism will get & the more stress you will put on your internal organs.
It is not recommended that you lose more than 2-3 pounds per week. Rapid weight loss can be dangerous & is hard to maintain. losing weight is difficult because 1 lb is 3000 calories, so you must burn 3000 calories per pound you want to lose.

instead of killing yoursel try this:

cut down on your calories, eat lean protein, and whole grains - bread is not bad, so long as it is whole grain & high in fiber, also eat your veggies & drink lots of water. It is best to eat 1200-1500 calories per day, if you eat less than this your metabilism will slow down, making it harder to lose weight.
NO fast food, no soft drinks (diet or regular) no eating unless you are hungery.

Lots of Cardio & weight training. do 30-45 minutes of strength training 3-4 times per week followed by 45-50 minutes of cardio 5-6 times per week. do your strength training 1st, it burns more calories. Also walk more during the day. Take a walk on your lunch break, walk to the store, aim for 10,000 steps per day a pedomiter is a great idea.

if you really want to lose the weight you are going to have to use dicipline & work hard. your health is worth it!

I'm guessing the most you could lose is maybe 20 pounds... assuming your at least drinking water. But why would you do it in the first place? Once you starve yourself, your body starts to hold on to fat and you begin to lose more muscle as your body fatigues more easily. Your also not going to be a very functional person as you will not only be constantly tired but also stressed.

After your starvation, you'll be more tempted to eat fatty foods to restore your body to homeostasis. This would mean your 10 day starvation was worthless.

I have never done 10 days, but I have gone through 3 days of no eating except for water and that was pretty painful...I couldn't really do anything and I noticed some noticable muscle loss.

If you want to lose weight, lose weight the right way.

This years best diet plans can be found at DIETPLANSCIENCE.COM cost free. Does the word "diet and weight loss" immediately make you think of an unpleasant weight-loss regimen? If it did, you are probably not alone. For example, consider the use of the term "diet" in marketing food products—it usually describes foods low in calories, such as diet soda. But there is another meaning of this word. Diet can also refer to the food and drink a person consumes daily and the mental and physical circumstances connected to eating. The Merriam Webster Online Dictionary gives two definitions of nutrition: "the sum of the processes by which an animal or plant takes in and utilizes food" "the act or process of nourishing or being nourished" While both are correct, the second definition is more inclusive and suggests that food involves many different things, including love, satisfaction, and enjoyment. Nutrition involves more than simply eating a “good” diet—it is about nourishment on every level. It involves relationships with family, friends, nature (the environment), our bodies, our community, and the world. Choices about nourishment are very much linked to other human beings and other life forms on this planet, so healthy (and unhealthy) decisions have great impact. 13 year old lose weight.

A big fat NO! You need food to survive and doing this could kill you. You will get dehydrated and a host of other diseases. You will pass out, get delusional and then death. If you have the will power to stop eating, then have the will power to diet for 10 days. When you lose weight that fast, it wont stay off. You didnt put that weight on in 10 days and it wont all come off in 10 days. Go tto a Doctor and he can prescribe a sensible diet for you. One of the best aids to lose weight is 8 glasses of water a day, it flushes out your system. If you say you cant drink that much, then drink a half a glass every hour. Ice or cold water tastes better to me. Make a game out of reading food labels but dont just look at calories, check out sugar and fat content too.

It is never safe or healthy for you to fast that many days. I don't know anyone who went without food that long except my grandpa. He was sick --- in a nursing home --- and did not like there. He purposely stopped eating and within ten days he died. You're far better off losing your weight with a healthy diet. If you lose weight too quickly --- it normally doesn't stay off and you can end up losing muscle mass rather than fat. You don't want to lose muscle mass because it helps you burn calories.

Do Not Do IT!!!! I have been dealing with that for a long time. Let me tell you you will become addicted to the fact that it's a fast way to lose weight and you do lose alot of weight. I'm still dealing with it and it's no fun thinking that I need to lose 2 more pounds.

no u don't ever think of doing that.......no matter how fat u r...... u should try to lose weight by working out regularly.
Coz wen u starve urself then ur body is in a bad condition........coz u don't lose weight wen u r on a diet...but u lose water frm ur body which makes u feel weak......
and u'll surely gain much more wen u r bak on ur normal diet.

The human body can live for a month or more without food. Only 3 days without water. So drink a lot of water and you can starve yourself for the ten days. By the end of that time, you will be too weak to get out of bed and your body will have cannibalized your major organs like the heart and brain, damaging them permanently. And when you begin to eat again, you will blow up like a balloon because your metabolism will have slowed down so much. Your choice.
