the paint is bright red, and it's covering a large area... we have already tried paint thinner, a paint stripper, and sanding...

rent a industrial floor sander. that will be your best bet.

If you have already used a paint stripper and you have sanded it, then it is time to call in the professionals.

I called a painting company some years ago for a concrete floor. They had a machine made by Tenant that would scarify the concrete floor and it made it look new again. I suppose they could do it with wood also. good luck.

let it soak , then use a razor blade ..red is a very stuborn color , good luck..i always use razor blade to remove spilled paint , i just run the blade over the affected area and it usually come right up

Denatured alcohol, a rag, elbow grease, and patience.

You aren't going to get it all off in one go. but just work on a little bit at a time.

Rent a heat gun, and plan to use lots of elbow grease with a putty knife
