would you view a guy differently if he's a nurse?
if you're a female nurse, what do you think of male nurse?
if you're a physicians, what do you think of male nurse?
if you are attracted to a guy, and later you find out he is a male nurse - will it change your point of view about him?

I'm glad seeing good responses from general population...
I guess the discrimination comes from within the profession...
Not in the workplace, but in school... (hopefully it's nothing general)
Been a nurse for awhile... and loving it...
I've met the most wonderful people (my patients) in my career that made an impact in my life... vice versa... :)

I think that men and women can share the same professions and should not be viewed differently because of their gender.
I think personally that male nurses are hot and just as capable as doing a damn good job as the women.
I would not think any differently about a man that is a nurse and I would still be attracted to him and would want to deal with him. His occupation honestly would mean little to me any way. I think if you are or were dealing with someone who viewed you in a different light because of your profession then they are not as mature as you would believe them to be and quite frankly is a waste of time.
Good Luck!

Not a thing wrong with it and there needs to be more. I know my son was grateful that there was a male nurse to help him when he was in the hospital. He was too embarrassed to let the female nurses see him without clothes. Probably because he was young, but still it was comforting to him.

Firstly, real girls find it really sweet if your a male nurse, because it shows you care alot about people and your being yourself.
Males nurses make no differnence, and honestly their is no such thing as a same-sex job, it's just stereotypical rubbish. Do want you want to do, and real people will respect you for it.
It's like a woman wanting to work in mechanics, people will view her as manly, butch or look down upon her because she can't do 'a mans' work.
I like seeing people that work for in different jobs that don't fit their stereotypes, because the world needs to be more accepting of people, and if its what they want to do let them. You don't know who they are as a person, so you have no right to judge the type of work they do.

I think that if it pays the bills, it's all good! Most people think of females when they hear the word 'nurse', so is that why you're worried? It wouldn't change my point of view of him because of his job title! Nurses care about people and help them! What's not to like? :)

maximum nurses are lady and all nurses shelter male genitals contained in the time of their preparation or responsibilities in some unspecified time contained sooner or later. by the time they have seen some hundred they have forgotten what somebody's sounds like.

there is nothing wrong with a male nurse. i don't know why this has been debated for so long. my opinion would not change over him being a nurse, at all. it's a good job anyways.

I think anyone that care enough for people to become a nurse is someone to be admired. Regardless of their sex.
