Whoa, what if Jesus had been a Christian?

Because some of Jesus' contemporaries thought that he was the Messiah. The original Jesus-followers were also Jewish, but they broke away when not all of the Jews agreed.

We really don't "need" Christianity, any more than we need other religions. People can choose what religion they want to adhere.

Jesus was Jewish, but more than that .....He was/is the Jewish Messiah, fulfilling the prophecies. Many Jewish people did not accept Jesus as their Messiah so Jesus allowed Gentiles who believe Him to be the Redeemer, to receive eternal life also.
Now, to all who believe, Jesus will be their God.
Followers of Jesus are called Christians.
"The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch." Acts11:26

Only the Jewish people had access to God through a priest and animal sacrifice at the temple and now God has made a better way for everyone to be able to access him any where on earth through prayer in the Holy Spirit through the blood of the Son of God..Christianity

You never did need Christianity. God gave in the Torah how the non-Jews are to become righteous and merit their place in the World To Come. This is by living according to the 7 Noahide Laws.

The Church knew this very well, and suppressed it and murdered Jews who continued to teach this to the Gentiles as they had done for a thousand years before then. No money, power, or control over people for the Church if non-Jews continued to follow the Noahide Laws.

http://www.noahide.org

Seriously, do you honestly believe that the Church believed that Jesus was the Messiah, and yet the Church went around slaughtering millions and millions of THE MESSIAH'S BLOOD BROTHERS AND SISTERS? Even worse, since they believe that Jesus was God, they went around slaughtering GOD'S blood brothers and sisters??? And didn't blink an eye in fear for this, weren't even just a TAD bit nervous about it at all?

Of course they weren't. They knew the whole thing was bogus to begin with. Christianity was not begun as a movement to save people's souls from hell (Judaism doesn't even have the concept of Original Sin, or an eternal burning hell, this is yet another Christian twisted interpretation of the Torah), Christianity was begun as a movement meant to control people for money and power, nothing more. And it did that fabulously. And it slaughtered, left and right, those who knew (the Jews) that the religious foundations it formed were from ancient paganism.

There is no such thing as being "grafted in", nor any need to be in the first place. The Jews are not "blind", as Christianity teaches, either. We have exactly what God gave us, down to the letter - well ok, there are maybe a dozen letters different in the Dead Sea Scrolls from what's in our Torah today, none of which has changed any of the meanings whatsoever.

Compare that to the 30 THOUSAND differences in letters, words, and meanings contained in the Christian "Old Testament" that they made as they stuck the Torah onto the back of their New Testament in an effort to give their pagan teachings some legitimacy, and changed its name to the Old Testament.

There is no such thing as a God who comes down to earth as a man in Judaism, nor a God who impregnates a virgin (deliberate mistranslation of the word "young woman" in the bible by the Church), nor a resulting child who is wholly man and wholly God, nor a messiah who is killed as a virgin human pagan blood sacrifice for sin. Nor a messiah who dies, goes to hell for 3 days and resurrects and now, although he is God, goes to sit at the right hand of God (talk about being beside yourself!).

None of this comes from Judaism. It all comes from other ancient pagan religions. If you believe in these things, please understand that you're believing in things that come from Zoroastrianism, Mithraism, and other old pagan religions, rather than Judaism.

Please read these links to find out about the real Messiah according to what God gave to the Jews on Mt. Sinai, and why Jesus did not fit the requirements any more than the thousands of other men through the years who have claimed to be the Messiah did either.

Jesus was practicing the ancient sect of Judaism called the Essenes. ( they originally studied the Upanishads which came from India. He originally taught karma, reincarnation, Vegetarianism, and no one goes to hell eternally, King Constantine added, deleted and misconstrued much of what Jesus originally said. Krisha says in the Bhagavad Gita "whenever their is a decline in religious principles, and the truth appears to be lost, I appear again and again or send My Representative To reestablish the Truth." We can see over and over the pure teacher comes and man changes things to fit his own idea. Then God has to send someone again to reestablish the truth. So We need the original teachings or we will be misled. For the original teachings of Jesus google gospelofthenazirenes.com Jesus had to come to reestablish the truth of what Moses taught. And moses came to reestablish the truth and so on. For the teachings of What Jesus said I have more to tell you ." and I will not cast pearls amongst swine." Read Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells the Absolute Truth. The Truth is One.

Technically all Christians are actually Messianic Jews. They cannot be Christians if they truly believe Jesus wasn't just the annointed one (Christ) but the actual Messiah of the Old Testament.

Anyone who believes in Jesus is automatically part of the body of Christ - Jew or Gentile. Jewish believers in Jesus remain Jews, and Gentile believers in Jesus remain Gentiles. So, I don't really understand your question. Do you think Gentile believers should have to become Jews? If you do, that is unbiblical. It is not necessary for a Gentile believer to become a Jew, nor is it necessary that a Jewish believer become a Gentile. That's biblical. Your question makes no sense to me.

Christianity is for the Gentiles (non-Jews) that Jesus also came to save. You could be a Jew who believes Jesus was the Messiah... they were called the disciples/apostles.

Because Jesus fulfilled the Jewish religion. It is now obsolete. I don't say this to offend, but Judaism is looking for the Messiah. If he has already come, then they must be wrong and have missed the Messiah.
