He died before sundown...after sundown he would have had to stay on the stake for another day. The Jews did nothing on the Sabbath Day. Jesus died on a Friday evening. It must have been around 3 pm and they had to have time enough to get him to the grave.
We commemorate his death on Nisan 14 after sundown.

No one knows what time or day that Jesus died on. They are not even sure when he was born or what town he was born in.
Just enjoy your religion for it's spiritual value. When you start looking for facts in religion, all you'll get is disappointment.

In those days, they reportedly measured the beginning of the day at sunrise. If the sun rose at 6 AM, then his death would have been reported at around 3 PM.

it doesn't matter - it's a myth. he would have died and his carcass rotted away 2000 years ago. it is irrelevent.
