Yes she was Catholic - but I think people viewed her more of a person who loved her God and her neighbor.

Yes, Blessed Teresa of Calcutta is a prime example. I had the opportunity to see her once. The entire stadium was filled with people of all faiths and races... all come to be in the presence of a living saint.

When she spoke, you could have heard a pin drop. It was one of the most wonderful things I have ever witnessed.

The price of entry was 1 can of food.

In His Love,
J

The Late Great Mother Teresa did exactly as what Jesus did. Lived a life of Godliness without Bible Thumping it into the people. She lived as an example of her faith and her Lord Jesus. And through living as an example, she inspired many towards being better people or better Christians... the way Jesus did.

How many Bible Thumping Judgemental Modern Christians are living a life similar to Jesus? Not many... in fact most follow the ways of Paul more than Jesus

Sounds right to me. The only thing i don't like about her is that she discouraged the use of birth control. And she could have been more outspoken about getting the governments of the world to help the poor more.

I admire Christopher Hitchens comments but he can be acerbic sometimes. Mother Teresa did good work; that's more important, than whatever 'cult' she believed in.

I am Jehovah´s witness and I believe that she will be resurrected according to Acts 24:15 " and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous"

she was a great human being.

I do have an issue with her prolife / anticontraception stance. I find it hard to understand how someone who is surrounded by the problems of overpopulation on a daily basis could continue to encourage people not to use contraception and be prolife.

Maybe I am being picky....but it bothers me.....

An outstanding servant of God. But one must remember that
her stance on contraception was in line with the Pope.lf they Pope sets down rules catholics must obey irrespective of whether
they deem it right or not.
Thats Y we have a pope.Dont attack her on that score.Praise her for being obedient not to contradict the Pope.
