I'm Muslim and Hell in Islam is where non Muslims, bad Muslims, murderers, etc. go for all eternity. In Islam hell or Jahannam in Arabic when you go there it takes you 70,000 years to hit the bottom. During that time and after ALLAH(SWT) burns the skin off of your body and then allows it to reappear as punishment for your sins. In Islam bad Muslims go there until their sins are made up and then go to Jinnah(Heaven). The water is like fire and when you drink it your brain evaporates from the heat. People who know that Muhammad(PBUH*) is a Prophet of ALLAH(SWT) and don't become Muslim go to Hell for all eternity and the Jews and Christains before Muhammad(PBUH*) if they followed Prophet Jesus(PBUH*) and the Prophets before Jesus(PBUT*) in Islam go to Jinnah if they were good.

Hell does not exist to me. Our lives on earth are the closest thing to a hell there is. It's how we exist and others exist. There is however, I feel, a sort of temporary holding area for the corrupt that turn from God (choice), but eventually he/she will be absorbed back into Gods mass when the time comes. More to it than that, but that would be the simple, short version.

As a Wiccan, I do not have a "hell" concept -- I believe that after death, all souls (if souls exist at all) will be reunited with the Divine, no matter what their deeds in this life, in a state of existence that is currently beyond our comprehension. My concept of Deity is truly loving and forgiving.

Hell will be what is left behind on this earth after Jesus comes and gets his people and we leave this earth it will be burned , purified and while that is happening Satan will be loosed upon it for a while to collect whatever is left on it, which wont be anything that doesnt already belong to him any ways.

I am Muslim.
I've learned that it's the burning kind, but some people say that's allegorical, yet others say it's literal.

I can't say that it is either kind. It is oblivion. Hell is the grave.

I'm an animist. I don't believe in "hell" per se, but I'd definte it as self-delusion and self-destruction - and the refusal to address one's burdens.
