I want to donate whatever organ that can be use on people who need it, then cremate the rest of my useless body (body parts).
I always tell my family members and friends not to wear black to my funeral, because it is boring.

If I can't be a zombie or a mummy, I want to be cremated. Some of my ashes mixed in concrete and made into an artificial reef ball in the ocean.

And some of it shot up into outer space. Either the Luna or Voyager service by Celestis.

And the rest scattered atop Machu Picchu. I want it MY way in death as in life.

Religion does not enter into the picture--I am an atheist. Yes, there are plans. Organs useful for transplant will be removed, what's left goes to the anatomy department of a major university hospital, and what's left of that will be cremated. Simple, useful, neat, and pre-paid for.

Burial with grave goods---sacred objects, favorite weapons, silver, amber, bottles of mead---if at all possible.

It's traditional in ancient Norse heathenry, of which my folkway is a modern reconstruction.

The other possibility is a ship burial . . . we do this with a small carved ship set atop a hollowed trunk, into which people place remembrances and personal articles of the deceased, and then burn while holding a "Minni Horn" sumbel honoring their deeds in this life.

Being non religious, I've always wanted to be thrown into the sea when I die but I know that isn't possible because of regulations. So I guess that would make my belief early Mediterranean or Egyptian, instead of the Agnostic that I truly am. TRACER can you answer my previous question? I would love to get your insight. thanks.

My plans depend on how much money I have. If I'm super rich i want to be buried inside a t-rex skeletons mouth. Just to screw with far future people.
Chances are I will be cremated some where.

Uh.. I plan to be dead once I die, so I really don't care. Let them take whatever useful parts are left and throw the rest in a landfill.

At first I wanted to be buried whole, but now that I hear about maggots and the possibility of rising as the living dead.

I'll choose cremation.
