I would do everything in my power to keep my child even though it was not mine, What i would do is contact the other parents and meet up with them so I could meet my natural born child. I would then see if the family would like if we lived in the same neighborhood, if so, then I would move there and we could be in contact with each other and each family could be a part of both child's life.

That would be terrible. I would hate to give away a baby that I have raise for a whole year, but if you think about it a year is not a long time. Is not like they already got an education or so. I would get my baby back just because it was the baby I grew in my belly and gave birth to. Like others have mention I would love to keep seem the other baby because love is going to be there, but I am sure I would want my "real" baby, my blood to be with me. Is not going to be the same after finding out. Everything will change.

it has happened many times. I would sue the hospital and I would want to see my child that I gave birth to but I don't know if I would want to give up the child that I am raising because I would love that child also

Yes, I still would want my own child back, but I would hope that my child had been treated well... maybe I would try to work out a way to keep seeing the other child, and vice versa?

Heck no! I loved the child for a year. The "biological" aspect of it means nothing; we are all so alike anyway.

For you religious folk, there's even a passage in the bible where someone tells Jesus that his mother and brother are there to visit him, and Jesus basically says something along the line of "How dare you assume that a biological connection means anything."

Basically, you want to trade your son back because he is not yours? It's funny how you're so calm.

Why not keep your kid. Everything happens for a reason, but I would definetely check up on your kid and maybe keep that too.

BUT if the person who has your baby wants theirs back, then I reccomend trading back, only finding a way to talk to him sometimes.

Toughie. Yes, I would. Yet, you would have already bonded with another child.

I would want my child back, but it would also depend on who got your baby.
What a terrible thing.

honestly even though the child that is your flesh and blood is out there i would think it would be better to keep the child that you have cause it would not be fair to them.
