I do not believe in any religion, they all sound pathetic and unrealistic.I do believe in God and do believe he interferes with most of actions in this life. I appreciate everything God created for us and I treat them with respect.I try to be a good person as much as I can. I believe that every person is reponsible for their actions in this life. I don't think Jesus or anybody else is gonna forgive, save or send you to heaven. As I mentioned before, I try to be a good person and never hurt anybody, not even a plant or an animal, and I will leave the rest to the unknown. My question is, what is all this make me?I know I'm not an atheist or agnostic. Please do not leave me comments like devil believes in God too, etc. I don't need lectures on religion...If you make a sense out of what I've been talking about and know what class I fall in, I would like to know. Thank you in advance for all the answers.

I am the same way i believe in a "higher power" and i dont need a religion , religion is one of biggest setbacks in humanity, people arguing, becoming phsyco fanatics, everyone believes they are right honestly i think every religion is based on lies about stories and occurences that we ave no idea occured. There is a balance of good and evil in the real world as well as in the spirit world and all i kno is that i believe in spirits and i believe that there is more to life (which is a miracle in itself) than jus how much money we make, getting the perfect body, and having the nicest car, getting married and starting a family...we do not live for these things....there is no way humanity is made to play the same role we think life should be over and over again.....think about it if god said personally if u dont have faith in me and live for othere ull be punished i think everyone will behave then humanity will reallly have no purpose its jus the balance of ggod and evil an agreement and thats why ure faith is tested

I feel the same way that you do. I've studied Hinduism and found that to be more in tune with the way that I feel about things. You should research it yourself and see if it fits for you. It is the oldest religion that is still in practice today. You'll recognize bits of all of the major religions because Hinduism predated all of them.

You might also want to research Buddhism. But be warned, Eastern religions are completely different than anything we have here in the west and it does take some time to wrap your mind around them.

Good luck in your search.

Offhand I'd say you were "spiritual but not religious."

However, your comment that all religion sounds "pathetic and unrealistic" is a rather broad statement to make unless you are a thelogian who has studied ALL religions and can make that judgement with something to back it.

God hasn't given up on you. However, as a Christian who believes in the Bible, I believe that the only way to eternal life is thru Jesus Christ. Being a "good person" is not enough to get into heaven. I urge you to explore religions until you find one that suits you and encourages you to grow closer to God.

I hope you make the right decision!

God bless.

I don't know the word you are looking for. I suppose the best description would be " One of God's children " You worship God directly with no middle man. I'm not entirely sure how that would work in terms of Salvation, though. Well, if you confess your sins, then you're soul would be clean. Hmm.. this is tough, I could go on about this one for days. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Best wishes.

Christianity, Judaism, and Islam in actuality have self assurance in an identical god. even although, their center ideals and their interpretation of the be attentive to god is fairly distinctive. while they try in the call of religion that's many times using fact they want to deliver god to the infidels who have self assurance in something distinctive than themselves, or using fact they sense their ideals and/or way of lifestyles is threatened by folk with distinctive ideals. even although, there are different religions that have self assurance in a distinctive god (or gods) and there are religions that don't unquestionably have self assurance in a good being.

Well, I agree that organized "religion" has lots of stupid stuff involved. The difference between me and you is that I do believe that Jesus died on the cross to save mankind for his sins if we believe in Him. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." I am a non-denominational Christian cause of my belief in Jesus, but I do not claim to be part of any denomination. In reference to your question is just that you believe in God who is the creator of heaven and earth. If you do believe in afterlife reconsider your belief in Jesus.

No offense, but that makes you an idolatrous Deist.

You believe in a god of your own design, rather than the One revealed through Scripture.

probably an intelligent, logical person who doesnt want to be bound by rules and beliefs he doesnt agree with...

no matter what ANYONE says in response to your question, religion is ALWAYS a personal choice, and if u dont agree 100% with a religion, then you shouldnt commit to it.

take snipits from what you do believe, and create your own spirituality and belief system. as long as you're a good person, you're life will be rewarding.

the class u'd probably fall in is unitarianism.

good luck!
