I remember a few expressions from 4 years of Latin in high school in the 70s:
- Ave magister (hello teacher)
- Tibi gratias ago (I thank you)
- Semper ubi sub ubi (always where under where, a.k.a. always wear underwear!)

As for your expression, I'm sure you would use 'et' for and, can't remember the verb 'to save', so I'll google it and hopefully edit this ........... "to save" is servo, luckily first declension verb which is about the only one I remember past tense endings for ........

I would say "fidelis et scientia me serverunt"

I dont have my Latin books near this computer but for a start y is Spanish not Latin! You need to use et or -que!

You will also need to use a passive form of the verb!

And its FIDES in the Nominative

Fidelis is an adjective!

Fidelitas et Scientia preservarmam
something along those lines but I'm sure it's not 100 percent correct as I'm not really sure of the subject form.

The one I love is "semper ubi sub ubi"

"always where under where"

A common English-New Latin translation joke. The phrase is nonsensical in Latin, but the English translation is a pun on "always wear underwear".

That has to do with my name.

If anyone can figure it out :)
