Try trackofthewolf.com. You can get tinder boxes, tinder, flint, steel and most everything you would need to make a fire. The cheap kit would be a flint and steel for about 10 bucks. Once you get to the site and its links, you may find alot of stuff you would like.

OK .Go to Cardinalgear.com or DixieGunworks.com...Cardinal gear has a great flint "kit" for firestarting for just $11. Dixie Gun Works also has a firestarting flint kit available online (not sure of the price but has everything you need for $15)
I personally own one from each of the above listed companies and they work great! Have fun!

Go to ebay.com and enter the following words in the search box:
magnesium
fire
starter
flint
It brought up over 40 available flints when I did this.
You could also check at army surplus shops or outdoor/camping stores and outfitters, if you haven't already.
Hope you find what you're looking for!

Try natchezshootersupply.com or dixiegunworks.com for rifle flints. Cabella's might have some, as might similar high priced outdoor shops.

It seems like any hunting store or hunting department in a store would have it. Have you tried ebay? I sure miss those days. Had so much fun doing all that stuff. Have you tried muzzle loading; you would truly enjoy it. If you have wife and children, muzzle loading is great for the whole family.
