so this guy i'm basically dating, it's just not official yet, is like an inch or two shorter than me. and i'm not one of those girls that it really bothers, but i think it might kind of bother him. and i've heard that alot of guys grow the most between their late teens and early twenties. he's 18 right now. is all this true? i dont mind him being shorter at all, but i can see it puts him down a little.

Don't worry about it. Don't make too much of a fuss over it. Plenty of women are taller than their boyfriends.
It takes a good, confident man to date a woman that is taller, and apparently he is one.
He may grow a little, possibly an inch or two. If he does, that's great. If not, that's ok too.
Judge him by height of character instead of his physical height. I hope he never fails to measure up.
You may very well have a keeper.

Sounds like he's got the problem, just keep on being you and if he ever brings it up tell him it doesn't matter. If he can't handle it there's not much you can do about it. Hopefully being with you will help his confidence and he'll realize it's not that big a deal. An inch or two? That's not much.
I've been out with several women that were taller than me, no problems here.

Think a number of short guys do worry about their height, or lack of, - unfortunately many try to make up for it by big talk!
If you really like him, you will make him feel at ease, - in time, but sounds like you probably have taller men, without hang-ups, ahead [ ha ha ] of you !
At 18, yes, may grow a little more, but not much - unless he is desperate enough to try some Male growth hormones..

I can see how that'd bother him, it would bother me. Personally though, I'm not dating and don't plan on doing so any time soon, but every girl I've met my age is either equal to my height or shorter than me. My friends aren't bothered by it though, so I don't think you should stop dating.

i dont think it should matter to him if he likes you. i dated a guy that was a little shorter than me and he didn't mind. so i think it will be ok. give it a go

well if i was you i would just keep telling him that he is not totally done growing and just keep boosting his ego and show him that it doesn't bother you and i think that it won't bother him as much
