i just got a tattoo on my lower back 2 days ago and before i went to bed i put the webber vit E ointment they gave me. I fell asleep on my side but woke up on my back. The ink blead off onto my sheets..is this normal?

While the ink is deposited in the dermal layer of skin, a lot of it gets trapped in those dead skin cells that normally come off. The epidermis has to peel as well.
The ointment mixed with the ink that is, in effect, "excess" in the top layer of skin is what came off on your sheets. You will see that for a bit yet - no worries. Just keep following the directions your artist gave you!

Yes. The ink will come off on the bandage when you first get it, and then when it scabs, they will have ink in them and be the color of the tattoo. All that leaked on your bed was probably the skin not being able to scab up, because of the ointment, hence leaking onto the sheets.
Keep it lubricated a couple times of day at least, and keep it out of the sun as much as possible and definitely don't go tanning or anything like that for a couple of weeks.
Other than that you should be fine!

When I first got the tattoo on my back, shown on my avatar, I wore one of my husbands undershirts to bed. When I woke up the shirt was stuck to my back a little and when I took the shirt off a picture of my tattoo was on it, like a transfer. Yes, it is normal and your ink will be fine. My tattoo stayed intact just fine.

it is perfectly normal for some color to come off. Your tattoo artist should have warn you about it and asked lay a towel or a piece of rag on your bed under you back to avoid staining the bedsheet.

Out of the wound, it will yea a tattoo is only a tattoo when it's under the skin.....even the most permanent pen would come off in time. you'll just have to wait for the skin it's on to come off, naturally! (the skin falls off after I think 7 days and is replaced by the skin cells underneath, which is always going on).

Yes, it's normal...you have nothing to]
worry about except getting the ink out
of your sheets.............lol...ink does not come out of clothes or skin.........
Keep it clean and moist with the lotion,
that the shop told you about...and maybe you want to cover it when you
go to bed...........that will keep it off your sheets and also keep from rubbing the tat.

Its perfectly normal. Your skin isnt gonna just except that their is something new in it. It will still try to get rid of it. Its normal it'll go away in a week or two. Good luck with your new Tattoo.
