& then you find out later that all she did was lie to you & start rumors about you behind your back?

I'm almost 30, & I've known this chick since 6th grade, & I thought she was my best friend. Well, she just got beat up by a guy yesterday & I just found out today that she is no good, & she spreads my personal business all the time.

Well it was wrong of her to do that, and it's understandable if you're upset. I'd still feel bad for her though.

the 1st problem is which you and your chum are the two underage. you may no longer have been eating at first and could have landed in detention center. Secondly, considering which you probably did drink, you've gotten merely stated as a cab or gotten a experience dwelling house. he's 4 years youthful than you, you purchased under the impression of alcohol with him, you beat up a minor, and all of this got here approximately considering which you made some particularly stupid possibilities. i think of which you may merely settle for the outcomes of your movements and show regret to him and his dad. If he forgives you, then he's between the main forgiving people alive. If no longer, then you somewhat could desire to comprehend that that's your fault and you are able to desire to learn out of your blunders.

Of course I would feel sorry for her! And the appropriate thing to do is report the beating to the police. Nobody has the right to be abused, no matter how much you dislike them.

P.S. Are you really willing to give up a friendship of some 20 years for whatever you found out about yesterday?

I think that regardless of what she done , or said about me, that would be something for her and I to talk about. As for her getting beat up by a guy, Yeah I probley would feel sorry for her just because I don't feel that any guy should hit a woman. BUt like I said AFTER she was all healed up,we would be talking about how she has done me.

It's called compassion and empathy. You can (AND SHOULD) feel sorry that she got beat up and hurt badly.

Cut your losses about the other stuff. Now you know her true colors you know what not to share with her. There's not point in holding a grudge against someone who is obviously weak and attention seeking.

Spreading rumors is NO reason for a woman to be physically abused. You SHOULD feel sorry for her- sorry that she's been assaulted, and sorry that she's insecure about herself that she feels the need to lie. Have a heart to heart with her.

Well, I think that even if she was not the best friend in the world and no matter how much harm shes done to u; no one deserves to be "beat up" or physically harmed

Just because she lies doesn't mean she needs to get hurt.

You are 30 and you still spread your personal business out in the town. Keep that stuff to yourself.

Let me see if I understand this. Yesterday she was abused and mangled, and today you find out she's spreading false rumors and you want to know if you should withhold any sympathy for her? If you think, okay, but it seems a little off to me. I don't think anyone deserves to be beaten for any reason.

I still would feel bad that there was such violence in the world that a woman got beaten. I would not be friends with her again though; she is not a friend at all.
