Especially if said teens want to know about the visions in revelation, How can you teach it and know that you are spreading His word as He intended it and not losing the meaning while trying to teach it in a way that they will understand. I'm always afraid I'll lead them in the wrong direction. I know what the word says in my heart.
**I always enjoy answers I get that are sarcastic, cute, edgy, and flippant--they make me smile--but I am asking right now for especially Christians who want to do right by these kids to help me out here, so I can answer their questions.

I thought I understood the gospel as I was supposed to live it. I didn't claim to understand Revelation, but thought I knew what parts of it meant.

I was foolish. I didn't know much.

I did come across a book that explains exactly what every verse in Revelation means. The first 9 sections explain what John meant without scriptural references, and the last section covers verse by verse the whole 22 chapters of Revelation. It is written so my teenage daughters could understand it.

I cannot always explain things to them or my other children like I would like to,but the words in the book help.

It is truly an amazing read. It can be downloaded for free from the site below. I purchased my own copy though to underline and cross reference in.

Revelation is a difficult book to teach. When I studied it in college it was a task to put everything together. There are so many countries and leaders involved that it is hard to sort everything out. Personally, as a pastor, I would not recommend tackeling that book without help from your pastor.
