for towels and other accesories, i presume...
our bathroom upstairs is a light aquamarine colour, my lovely and talented wife bought bright orange, yellow and blue, and lime green towels and the shower curtain is fishes (very colourful fishes) of a sea-blue background. she hung one of her paintings of a crab playing baseball with an octopus on one wall (she's an artist)...anyway it is not a bad looking room for a bath room. (i'm a guy, i can live in a cave, so what do i know?)

I would like to paint my bathroom walls avid green and blue cuz these to colors are the color of the water, specially those of lakes or lagoons and also they give a feeling of coolness and freshness. To add upon these, I would even have a big mirror for the ceiling. Ur question sent me to the imagination land [:)] and I liked it a lot too. However m still a student so having a house of my own is not possible rite now.

Since you are in the cool color range, stick to them. Using different shades of the same color in shades darker and lighter will do just fine.
Accents of whites, and pale shades of violets & greens will be acceptable. Refer to the paint chips at the paint store to see what is best. Whatever is around them is what you need to stick to; judge what is best for your resolution.
Never look at the colors under the store lights. Always go to the front door and see in regular light. That will give you a more real look that you really want.

I think lots of colors would work with your shade depending on the look you want. If you want to keep it soft and airy, choose all white accessories, towels and flowers. If you want romantic, some shades of violet or puple would work too. For a dramatic look, go with coral accessories. I like the purplish-blue idea. It's soothing together and you can accent with a little yellow. Bathrooms are easy to change with new towels, rugs and a flower arrangement, candles etc.

http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l153/aycm8620/bath2.jpg san diego cream by benjamin moore might be nice but as usual i say invest in large paint chips (18"x18") they are like 4 dollars each but they give you a good sense of color on an expanse. (if you dont want to spend on chips use a solid bath towel or solid fabric because color truly needs to be seen on an expanse.) looking at those little free chips can be deceiving and costly and aggravating. remember nowadays stores like Lowe's offer color matching with a scanner gun and a paint computer. you just have to bring in your sample, the larger the better

A deeper aquamarine, or white. A good contrast colour would be Orange or Magenta. Or if your very bold-a purple.

im with the others who suggested bold colors...red,magenta,deep purple....that would be an awesome contrast. however, do the color that you really like. you can probally make just about anything work with the right accessories, rugs, and shower curtain. its all in YOUR hands, and your taste!

I have to say burgandy, or a dark green. Either one would be beautiful. If you don't like either one then the only other color would be white.

White always works.
If you're into bright colors, try red or yellow.
