Now, admit it--sometimes you're at work, and your boss isn't around, and work isn't fun.....so...you go on Yahoo! Answers. Go ahead, admit it!

But what do Yahoo! employees do? It would be a bit strange if they actually went on their own company's site for entertainment. Sometimes, I wonder if they don't sit there in their swivelly chairs (yes, swivelly IS a technical term!) and watch questions and answers unfold in R&S.

Do you think this is a possibility? Could WE be entertaining them?

What do the Y!A 'Yamsters' do at work when they're out of Violation Notices to review?

My guess is that they surf porn, but you may be right...

They may be very well just sitting there quietly in front of their PCs and gazing blankly at the multitude of posts popping up before them, --- much like the character Cypher in 'The Matrix", - mesmerized by all those lines of little, green, cascading digits.

Perhaps each of them has a favorite Y!Aer in their favorite categories; if so, I wonder if they think of us as we think of, say, - our beloved pets?

Or, - of a more sinister view...
... maybe the see us in a simply utilitarian way...
It could be that we are nothing to them but Y!A lab rats,...
...conditioned to run the gauntlet through their categorical mazes (after all, - they do appear to have a thing for rodents).

Maybe it's both,... or neither,... perhaps even something ELSE...

So, tell me:
Which do you think you are?
A beloved Y!A pet...
..or...
A Y!A lab rat,...scrambling through the mazes with the other
Y!A rats in an exhaustive effort to find the "Best Answer" cheese...

Yahoo should provide info on where to get those swivelly chairs. My back is killing me at the moment and if I had a swivelly chair of my very own, I coud prolly answer more questions.

Do you think all employees of Yahoo have swivelly chairs or only some?

Do you think that employers know when people in their businesses have been on YA slacking off? I'm certain that they do... it's logged at my server.

Absolutely.. The Yahoo watch dogs are ever present and the tentacles of the Brotherhood are far reaching. Chances are that I will hear a knock on the door shortly after posting this answer..they are ruthless and unmerciful to those who cross their boundaries by stating honest opinions, convictions and or to those who are blatantly remiss in grammatical prowess and especially to those who solicit prayer and well wishes for a respected member in good standing.

They are probably laughing hysterically even now,as they load their firearms... gotta go...I hear a knock at the door. They have discovered that I am a "RAMJET" fan..

It's possible. Some questions and/or answers entertain me - have you checked out the Jokes & Riddles? Not always as funny but usually good for a nice laugh. I rather like that word "swivelly" myself.

I am not familiar with the word "swivelly"; however "swiving" is also a real term. But I digress. Yes, I'm sure that on occasion the R and S gang provides great merriment for the Yahoo staff. That is, when we aren't giving them headaches.

That is incidental to their jobs. But it is not primarily their form of entertainment maybe they are amused to some answers and questions. But what is important they are doing their jobs for this R and S spiritual MISSION for the world.

R&S is entertaining. But the arguments get exhausting and its as if everyone has a stick up there ***. P&S is way more harmless fun.

Yes, I'm sure of it - especially this forum and the Politics and Government site. Actually - I think we pretty much entertain ourselves, too; don't you?

I admit I visit YA from time to time in my office.
No problem at all, I'm the boss.

It's possible but with a bunch of trolls on the board, I doubt
they're even paying attention.
