Gospel means "good news" and refers to the first four books of the New Testament . .. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John because they describe the LIFE of CHRIST on Earth when GOD walked among us, and particularly the passion narrative which is when JESUS fulfilled Scritpture and gave us the NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANT.
LOVE your neighbor as yourself.
Amen.

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John wrote about Jesus's life in their books of the Bible. They are the first four books of the bible. Each story is similar, with similar stories, but each has their own point of view. These books are called the "Gospels."
The basic theme is that Jesus was born of a virgin, Mary. Mary and Joseph raised Jesus. At an early age, they lost him momentarily. They found him teaching in the Jewish Temple. The people were amazed that a child could teach with such authority.
Later in life, Jesus and Mary were at a wedding. The host ran out of wine. Jesus performed his first recorded miracle by turning water into wine at the wedding.
Then Jesus was baptised by his cousin, John, the Baptist. When Jesus was baptised, the heavens opened up and God's voice was heard. He said that he was pleased with his son, Jesus.
Jesus then picked seemingly random people to follow him to learn the word of God. Some people believe the bible is full of contradictions, but if you read the Gospels, you'll see that Jesus did not contradict himself. He taught God's word in different ways to different people. He spoke of God's word and works to his disciples and followers. He spoke of God's wrath to the Religious Leaders.
The Religious Leaders of that time did what they thought was right. They did not believe that Jesus was God's son. They accused him of heresay and sacriledge. The only time Jesus threw a "tantrum" was when he saw people using the Temple as a marketplace.
The Gospel teaches that Jesus is the son of God. God sent him, the lamb of God, to die for our sins. No matter how good we are, no matter what wonderful things we do for others, nothing will get us into Heaven without accepting Jesus as our personal saviour.
You want the whole story of the Gospel? I suggest reading the Book of Matthew. You will see that the Gospel of Matthew is the beginning of the new covenant with God.
God Bless!

The gospel, or "good news," is that Jesus--God the Son--came to earth and lived as a man (but totally sinless; totally obedient to God the Father). Jesus took our sins on Himself, was put to death on the cross, and rose again three days later to give everlasting life to those of us who believe in Him. If you want the whole story, read the first four books of the New Testament--"The Gospels."
Blessings to you!

For the whole story see The Bible. Specifically the Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
The Gospel, or good news, is that Almighty God came to Earth in the form of man to become a vicarious sin offering for all the sins of every person.
That person was Jesus, The Christ, of Nazareth who, because was sinless overcame the power of sin and death.
Because death had no power over Him He was raised from the dead and sits in the Holy Seat of honor.
That's just part one.
Here's part two.
He's coming back. He came first as the lamb. When He returns He will come as the lion to rule and reign for all eternity. Hallelujah!

How long do you have? In a nutshell it's the "good news" of having a Saviour. Ask God to open your eyes, then read the Book of John in the Bible and you'll see what the gospel is all about. It will be lifechanging.

Hon, if you read the gospels in the Holy Bible, you will know. It is impossible to tell you the whole story on this website, but it is all about Jesus, and why He came here, and who He truly is, and what He did, and why He did it. (for us!!!) So, if you have a Bible, turn to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and read all about Him. God's words are better than mine. He tells it so well!!! God Bless

Not every gospel can be right when each is in opposition of basic tenets of eachother.
If you would like the TRUE gospel, here it is:
The meaning of life is to fellowhip with God, which is what the first man and woman did. But then sin entered the world, and man and woman fell from God, and having on them the stain of sin, could no longer fellowship with Holiness. So God formulated a plan. His plan would one day allow all of us to fellowship with Him again. But we are not forced to leave sin, and return to God. We have the choice to leave sin, and return to God. And so salvation is for all who believe, and decide to follow. Shema! It means "listen and obey!"
However, we can never again fellowship with God within the created universe, since this universe is already marked with sin. So, God will bring us home to heaven, and destroy all of creation (Judgement Day), eternally separating heaven from hell, so that sin can NEVER AGAIN enter into what is pure.
There you have it. Don't get left on the wrong side on Judgement Day. Come home with us.

The gospel is the good news of God's word that man can be forgiven of sins and make into Heaven; in the Old Testament, animals were sacrificed for the remission of sins and in New Testament times, which we now live in, we can confess Christ as our Lord and Savior and repent for our sins, openly addmit to a belief that He died on the cross for our sins, and make a commitment to live a life pleasing to God and get God's help to stick to that commitment.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 says, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
1. Man is a sinner
2. Jesus Christ is the Savior
3. Jesus Christ died to pay the price for our sins.
4. Jesus rose from the dead.
