Is it actual dirt? or are your underarms just dark? I just read recently in a magazine that using something like a facial scrub will help open plugged pores and fade the darkness.

Common sense would say wash with soap and water...but let's say that you don't lack common sense, and there's something else going on here.

There is a skin condition called Acanthosis nigricans that is commonly found under the arms...it's an unusual darkening that almost makes the armpits look dirty...it can also happen around the neck, between a person's thighs, etc...and it most common in overweight people.

Baking soda and water. Mix the 2 to make a paste and then rub it in your armpits.

Just get a washcloth and some bodywash and scrub under the arms.
