Tonight I watched 20/20 and there were these girls that for their graduation present from high school wanted breast implants instead of a car. I just can not imagine, personally I think you should be happy with the body God gave you. There are many things I regret doing as a teenager and looking at these teenagers I get really worried what our world is coming to. Anyone else?

I think it's all an ego thing and trying to get attention. I don't understand why so many young girls are doing it either. I watched a news story about young girls getting botox even!!! Come on give me a break. They think that if they start now, then they will look young forever.
I can understand why some women do get implants...mainly after they have kids and they have sucked the life out of you, but I just can't bring myself to have unnecessary surgery....to many risks in my opinion! Not to mention they just don't look right LOL.

I don't necessarily think that cosmetic surgery is a sign of a deeper problem, but I do think these girls are too young to have breast implants.

I think in some cases, cosmetic surgery does boost confidence & self esteem, & in some cases, pple just abuse it & do it 4 all the wrong reasons. Its true that we should all be happy with what gave us, but who really is? We're all human & have insecurities about 1 thing or another.

i do agree with you. i think it is a sign of a deeper problem. God gave us what he wanted us to have and we shouldnt mess around with that. really he is the only one we should be trying to impress and how impressed do you think hes gonna be when he see's what these people have done to his creations? making yourself pretty is one thing. cutting skin and injecting serums is another.

my feelings on this is that if they want to do it, more power to them...I know I would not undergo any cosmetic surgery, I am happy with who I am but I would not judge a person on what they want to do their body

I think it's something that people are doing to try to make them self look better but they usally look worse

no some people like that it doesnt mean they are insicure(sp?) but they ust want to look nicer like the next step in beauty
