If you think that installing a second battery with your sub and amp will be easier than just wiring to the stock battery, you are mistaken. When you install a second battery, you still need to run wiring to the first battery, otherwise the second battery doesn't get charged.
If you think that the system will perform better with a second battery, that is also incorrect. The only advantage to a second battery in most systems is that it would allow you to use the audio system with then engine off, and still be able to start your car with the first battery. If you plan to do your listening while driving, however, don't install a second battery.

either way you will have to wire it to your existing battery.. i dont see any need for a second battery unless you are going to have a crazy system pulling alot of amps off your battery. Installing a 2nd battery is more time consuming then just going to your stock battery because you will have to have the battery mounted or secured somehow so its not sliding all around your trunk.

Dude if I were you I would have a profesional do this. I had a 2300 watt audiobahn gold series amp and a friend hooked it up to a extra battery and it screwed it all up. So dont do it yourself. Oh and if your gonna do it yourself to save money take the power cord from the battery under the hood to a block and one ground wire from the block to the amp not two cuz that is what my friend did.

you could do it but alot of states have laws about trunk mounted batteries. usually you need a battery box. also to do it you would still need to run a wire from that battery to your main battery or alternator or your amp would just where the battery down real quick. it would probably be just as easy just to wire your amp to your main battery. also either way you would still have to run your rca cables to your head unit. i would suggest if you don't know how to do it and you don't know anybody that has done it before then you should just go get it professionally installed preferably with someplace that will warranty the work.

haha, lol. No nicorette gum becuase quitting on no account tasted so good. Thats like my sub its a self amplified dwelling house audio sub, yet as quickly as I turn it up it smells particularly weird and wonderful yet i havent seen smoke. you need to attempt a thicker ability and floor twine in spite of the shown fact that it must be maby an ohms concern the place the sub ohms do no longer tournament that of the amp. you need to be uderpowering or overpowering the sub aswell.
