First of all, your kitten is in a new home and is following you around because she is scared and needs to know that you love her. Think of her as your own baby. She needs alot of attention right now. Give her lots of love and cuddles.
She attacks stuff because she wants to play! Get on the floor with her and throw some toys for her to chase. (This is also a good opportunity to get some cute digital photos of her to send to your friends and family!) You can purchase cat toys at a pet store, but in my experience they will play with just about anything. Try a rolled up post-it or any other small piece of paper. A soda straw is also a good "free" pet toy. She will chase it around and get lots of good excersize. This is a good idea to do before going to bed at night because after playing and running around she will be tired and then may sleep better at night, therefore offering you a better nights sleep also!
Hope this helps!

She's probably just going through a phase. When kittens are about 10 weeks old they start racing around like maniacs and attacking everything they see. It's instinctive. Nature is preparing them for having to stalk and kill prey in order to survive, even though now cats no longer live in the wild. She will get over the killer kitten stage when she is five or six months old. In the meantime, provide her with lots of toys to stalk and pounce on.
Also, if she has recently been separated from her mother and littermates, she may be lonely. She follows you around because you may be the only other living thing in her world.
It is usually easier to have two kittens than one. Consider adopting another kitten to provide companionship and a playmate for her.

unfortunately you can't do anything about attacking. it's just a playful attack. and the following..that means the kitten takes you as a motherly figure or a playmate either way your lucky just play with her and spend time with her b/c she may grow out of this or she may become a dog like cat. my kitten did the same when we adopted her and she is basically a dog in a cat's body. she's friendly out going and so mellow. appreciate it.

She's playing and she needs to do this with others, so you're the designated playmate.
Just play with her to help wear her out. Have her run after little paper balls, chase string (don't let her eat it, put the string away when you're done), bounce balls for her, toss toys, and just help her burn off some energy. They develop their muscles this way and what she's doing is completely normal. She'll tone down after a month or two.

Why would you want to? Your kitten is doing what kittens are supposed to do. I think it's adorable. My youngest cat is 8 years old and I don't often see them play anymore. Can I come to your house and play with your kitten?

Lol.... kittens are so cute! :) They just like to follow their new "parents" everywhere they go. When they attack stuff it's just their natural instinct to hunt, whether what they are hunting is real or imaginary, it doesn't matter to them. If you're concerned about furniture your kitten is attacking, get her declawed, or if you're against declawing get some of those claw cover things or just clip the claws. Eventually, hopefully, she will grow out of it, but until then enjoy her energy!

You can't and I hope you wouldn't want to.. She is a kitten and everything is new and exciting to her! She will grow out of this stage soon enough. You can play with her with different toys, and she might not attack everything. She will associate play time with certain toys.
