cant pay my medical bills help =(?

i got into an accident about 7 months ago and had to be hospitalized my insurance wont cover the bills because alcohol was involved but i can not afford to pay them i am only 20 and already have to pay for college i cant pay them i dont know what to do im so stressed does anyone know what i should do is there any other way to get medical bills covered? what happens if i ignore them? please help

You aren't going to get medical bills covered, however, I've never heard of heatlh INSURANCE not paying bills because alcohol was involved. I'd imagine it's not a true insurance policy.

Meanwhile, you might just have to put college off for a while, and get a full time job for a few years to pay off these bills. Or take on a part time job while you're in college - or a SECOND part time job, to get some extra income going, and work out a payment plan with the hospital billing department, most would accept $100 a month.

If you ignore them, they will sue you in court, and win. Then your future earnings can be garnished, and you'll have to pay interest.

If you ignore them I would suggest moving to a different State, that way they can't do anything to you. Also, you'll get bad credit, but after 7 years who cares it gets whipped off anyways!
