I know several people who got a credit card with some made up name, how do they do that

...illegally. Although it's not difficult to do. Someone's actually gotten a credit card for a tree in southern California.
I recommend:
1) Don't.... you get caught, you end up paying for it for years to come.

Not that it would be legal, but I suppose you could start by signing up for junk snail mail with a made up name.
