no hot sauce and twirl

Twirl! An Italian once told me that I ate like a big baby, but I always use a large dessert-spoon [held in left hand] and with my fork [held in right hand] twirl the spaghetti into the bowl and voila, a nice tidy bundle! Apparently in Italy only little kids eat this way...with a 'helper'. I need all the help I can get when the sauce starts attacking my shirt.

Twirl. Hot sauce sounds like a good idea - but maybe better to add it into the regular sauce you are already making while it's cooking!

I twirl mines around a fork and bite the hanging noodles off. I don't put hot sauce on my spaghetti.

I break it as I put it into the pot to cook, then twirl it if I still get some long pcs and NO I do not put hot sauce on it.

Tastes better if you eat it with your fingers. When I was little I had to have spaghetti served to me without the sauce, then I had to divide the noodles into bundles of 5, tie each bundle into a knot and then add the sauce.

I would only ever eat spaghetti by twirling it by holding a fork in my right hand and a spoon in my left hand, It is such bad manners to eat it in any other way.Of course I put hot sauce on it, such as Bolognaise.
