Personally I being a good christian do not call people out of their names. I say we can agree to disagree. Some people have the learning part from the bible but they do not work at the other parts. Are they Christians I am not sure. My feeling is if you continue to do the same stupid things then how can God be expected to forgive you. Once even twice is a mistake any more than that you know what you are doing.

Because this is just a public website and the intelligent people on both sides of the argument find it funny how some people live here and act like they are married to Yahoo Answers and go around reporting people and getting offended and attacking while the rest of us come here for either 1. An idea on others opinions or 2. A bit of a laugh

As a Christian I never call people idiots or say questions are stupid. But if some question is against yahoo rules, I will report it.
At least I don't remember doing so.

I make an attempt to use a better word than stupid. Like look at the 'smart' part & comment on that.

If I, as a Christian, would call my sister or brother in faith a fool, then I would be in danger of hell fire. Not good. I personally consider this Gods discipline.

Yeah, I've never seen a non-christian do that.

Still, let me tell you. I never called anyone here an idiot nor have i said any question are stupid. I usually don't answer questions i dislike.

There are, of course, sarcastic remarks, exemplified above, for them I'm sorry, I'll try to contain myself more from now on

A true Christian doesn't accomplish anything by dogging someone else. A true Christine looks to accomplish peace and understanding by doing things in a kind, thoughtful way.

I have never called a person an idiot or stupid- so please do not generalize. I just asked a question about this same thing yesterday, because I have read some "christians" answers and they aren't kind. However please do not put all of us together. And besides we are not Christ, we are becoming like Christ, hopefully every day- at least I pray that I am.

You have your group of people mix up. And I like to know what you hope to accomplish because you are not fooling anyone. But nice try.
Christians are loving people and before you accuse anyone just get your facts straight.

I can't really answer= I'm not Christian and don't like to speak for anyone else but I'd assume it's b/c it gives them some peace of mind....if they believe someone to be idiotic, it strengthens their belief (twisted, I know). however, to credit some of them (not many I've come across but still), there are people of all religions and beliefs that will behave in that way....though I must admit it is more widespread in Christianity (at least in what i noticed.)

it interests me that people wanted to answer here, just to tell you how offended they are...how it "doesn't" describe them...well if they felt it was insincere or you weren't speaking of/to them, why did they come and answer?

What do...let's not say Christians, let's say fundamentalists hope to accomplish by calling people names?

You were in grade school, yes? Remember the nicknames, the names people who were in any way different were called, etc., etc. Some of the cats here at R&S are all grown up physically and all that but cognitively they are stuck in grade school. It's education, environment, their parents, their hopes for themselves, their fears, their belief that life has nothing for them and they are obliged to pull ancient, absurd gods out of the air, etc., etc. You are not talking about the cream of the primate crop here. I know that sounds harsh, but it's true, it's true.
