Do submarines have an MD - or are medical services provided by a senior RN?

Its usually not a doctor or an RN its just a corpsman who has the training of a paramedic/EMT level.

Subs have a corpsman. Enlisted rank from E-5 on up to E-9.I was one.

Yeah, they have a corpsman. Be careful, some of those corpsmen like to inflict pain especially if you get them out of bed.......lol
