Super Chee, if I could deport her too, I would. But my hands are tied.

However, I see no reason those here illegally who break the law should ever be released back into the US.

Mildred, our SCHOOLS don't have plenty of room, nor our hospitals, and they are failing.

However, my point here is only with those who commit other crimes as well. I see no justification to leaving them here after conviction.

The same thing I think about that "twice convicted and released" child molester who kidnapped Polly Klass from her own home and murdered her. Oh, he was a US citizen so that doesn't count I guess.

There is just no excuse for a criminal act to happen to one US citizen by an illegal alien.

The open border nuts try to justify any and all behavior by illegals as no different then what Americans are already doing or by stating we have a lot of room in this country. I see it as just fully avoidable and unnecessary. How can these people try to justify this by pointing to other bad behavior? The way their minds work astounds me.

Until we take away all of the incentives and rewards for illegals to come here they will keep coming. We are a land of LEGAL immigration but that number has to be reasonable, what current citizens need and controlled in numbers. To do anything else will only doom this countries future to third world status.

Frankly we should borrow from Liberal countries like France and tape their mouth and handcuff them and transport them home with an armed escort. I have concerns of the death penalty, because innocents might be accidentally executed, but if their illegal and was convicted of a violent crime in the US and they show up with in our borders agains, I have no problem with it. Frankly that's their third strike, and there is no doubt about commiting a crime.

Edit: MIldred, they're poor. Even if they all pay taxes, they would still use more than what they pay. It's the middleclass that supports our government, unfortunately. As for the fines for driving with out a license. They shouldn't be driving. Perhaps the conversation should be that we should improve or mass transits. One of the reason why I don't like illegal immigration is that the violation of this law leads to violations of others. After they violate their border, the stigma of breaking other laws is diminish and they don't think it's a big deal to Drive with out a license or stealing someone's SSN. I don't even know what logical reason tehy are still using stolen SSN , since we now have TIN. After that other laws are ignored. Driving is a privelage, not a right.

If they are here illegally, and are arrested once for crime, I think deportation should occur then. There should be no release prior to deportation, either as many simply ignore the order to deport and change identities. It frosts me when someone is harmed by illegal aliens the first time, there should be no second chance to harm or worse, kill. If sentenced to jail terms, I think the deportation should occur after completion of prison sentences, from behind the bars directly out of the USA back to their home nations. All should be added to the DNA data-base as well as AFIS.

Do you think that a majority of illegal aliens are being arrested ? I think that most of them are just here to try to find a better life. They would like to be citizens and pay taxes and enjoy life/liberty. I sat in traffic court and a majority of the cases were illegal aliens charged with driving without license / suspended licenses for failing to pay previous court fines. The interest the court charges on outstanding debt is 21 percent. The fines the judges were giving for these offenses averaged 500.00 I don't see how they could afford to pay this. I think we have plenty of land here / no shortage of space and we could sure use the revenue if they would pay taxes like the rest of us. I don't have a problem with them being here, I just don't want to support them. I'd imagine that many of them would not want to be in a position to be supported.
