My husband... when he is off he cooks for us
His mom and dad are great cooks , so when he and his twin brother were growing up , they would all get in the kitchen and cook.
He can make an awesome ribeye and is well known in the family for his homemade biscuts

Yeah I have met quite a few men who knew how to cook. Some cooked really well ( my best friends husband is a Sous Chef) As for me, no I have never been with a man who knew how to cook. Actually I take that back.........I think my husband can cook.......he just chooses not to. Anyways it kind of bums me out sometimes that I do all the cooking. Sometimes it's nice to have someone else cook for you. I think the food always tastes better when someone else cooks. Oh girl don't get me going!

I'm no slouch in the kitchen. In fact, when my wife and I first started dating I did all the cooking as she didn't know how and really didn't care to learn. That has all changed. Now she loves to cook and is actually envied by many of our friends because she is quite inventive and can put together and amazing meal on short notice and with limited ingredients.
I still enjoy cooking but only have time for it about twice a month.
My brother is also quite a good cook.
Take care!

My husband can cook reasonably well, but not when we met. Then again I wasn't near as good a cook then as I am not either, so? MOST chefs are men, so I am presuming they know how to cook? My Dad can't cook much, besides a sandwich and maybe toasted bagels! My brother can cook some, but only since he's been married. Bottom line....some can, most can't until they are in domestic situations!!

Sure. I had lots of boyfriends that could cook and my husband can too (though he only makes Chinese food because he's Chinese). My brother and brothers-in-law are great cooks too, not to mention my cousin. I would say my dad is the only man in my family that CAN'T cook.

Sure, I can cook, never had any complaints on my cooking either. Perhaps you are dissappointed that your husband or boyfriend can't cook. Why not just look at what he can do instead of what he can't, makes for a better relationship that way.

my father in law does a mean bar-b-que and my husband does a pretty good steak. in fact if i want steamed rice, i have my husband make it. his always turns out fluffy and light. our little brother can cook up a great meal he calls the lumberjack breakfast. a new friend i met on yahoo answers gave me 2 recipes that are out of this world. now i won't eat nachos any other way. a instructor gave me his recipe for baked spinach. i could keep naming different friends all night
