me and my pals got it from the school and we have no needs at all. Wish to offload it, but ebay says it's prohibited. Am from Asia and can't fund much auctions that get us registered.

First be aware the reason they said it was prohibited, is because XP product key is not transferable from on software disc to another.
This key is directly tied to the disc it was sold with.
Other keys won't work and just off hand it is against International Copytwrite Laws.
So you might be aware, Microsoft implamented this to stop Software Pirating

it is a violation of federal copyright laws and theft laws to do what you are trying to do.
